West Valley Plating began in 1998 with a single vision: one shop, every chemistry, all the way to ship. Twenty-five years later, that vision is the floor plan.

Our Story
Twenty-five years of metal finishing for the people who put hardware in the sky — out of one Chatsworth address.
West Valley Plating, Incorporated began operations in 1998 with the vision of a completely self-contained, full-service one-stop supplier. We started with the fundamentals — anodize, passivate, chem-film — and built every additional capability around the same idea: no outside vendors, no opaque hand-offs.
In 2004, WVP achieved NADCAP accreditation for chemical processing — the aerospace industry's hardest-won quality mark. We have held that certification continuously every year since.
Two and a half decades later, the floor plan has grown to seventy plating tanks, a dedicated rare-metals room, a full NDT lab, and advanced instrumentation — Bowman XRF, PerkinElmer atomic absorption, DeFelsko, microscopic exam, salt-spray.
Today WVP runs work for Boeing, Raytheon, Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney, IHI, and Donaldson. The shop is FAA-approved and USFCR-verified. The cert pack ships with the part.
The founding promise hasn't changed: high-quality metal finishing, self-contained, full-service, one stop. Same address. Same shop. Same discipline.
Our Principles
What we believe about finishing.
Four principles, learned the expensive way over twenty-five years. Every WVP lot is run against them.
Chemistry is the contract.
Bath chemistry is monitored continuously with atomic absorption — every cert ties back to a calibrated reading, not a memory.
One audit covers the whole job.
Anodize, plate, convert, and test — all under one NADCAP-audited roof. Your customer only audits us once, not seven sub-vendors.
A finished part is the only proof.
XRF on every lot, salt-spray on the schedule, NDT when the print calls for it. The data ships with the parts.
Zero discharge.
Cascade rinses, closed-loop systems, recycled metals. A finishing shop that earns its NPDES permit and the right to grow.
Next Step
Talk to the chemist.
Skip the account manager. A Zoom call costs less than freighting the parts twice.
