ServiceAnodize
Electrolytic forming of a thin porous aluminum-oxide film that gives aluminum superior abrasion and corrosion resistance while retaining the properties of the substrate. Per MIL-A-8625, across Type IC, II, and III.
What we run
- Type II (Sulfuric) — 0.0001″–0.0007″, sealed with nickel acetate or boiling water
- Type II Class 2 — dyed colors
- Type III (Hard) — 32–40°F bath, hardness up to RC 70
- Type III Class 2 — dyed hard-coat
- Type IC (Boric-Sulfuric) — chromate-free
- Titanium Anodize per AMS2488
ServiceNon Destructive Testing
Comprehensive NDT services for military, aeronautical, and aerospace applications — inspection methods that catch the flaws finishing cannot hide, and document them to the spec the print calls for.
What we run
- Liquid Penetrant — ASTM 1417 (Methods A & D)
- Magnetic Particle Inspection — ASTM 1444
- Nital Etch Inspection
- Pre-Penetrant Etch — Titanium, Aluminum, Stainless Steel
- Titanium Phosphate
- AMS 2446
ServicePlating
Nickel plating is widely used as an engineering coating for its corrosion properties, hardness, and wear resistance — for decorative, engineering, and electroforming purposes. Seventy tanks running electroless nickel, traditional nickel, cadmium, zinc-nickel, and precious metals.
What we run
- Electroless Nickel — High / Medium / Low Phosphorous (MIL-C-26074, AMS 2404)
- Nickel Boron · Nano-Composites · Black Electroless Nickel
- Bright, Sulfamate, Hard, Black Nickel (QQ-N-290)
- Cadmium — Type I Clear, Type II Chromate (AMS QQ-P-416 / ASTM 2400)
- Zinc-Nickel — Type I · Type II Grade A & B
- Tin (Mil-T-10727), Copper, Silver, Gold
ServiceChem Film
Chemical Conversion Coatings — corrosion protection, paint-adhesion priming, and low-resistance electrical contact surfaces on aluminum. Per MIL-DTL-5541, in both hexavalent and trivalent chromate.
What we run
- Type I — Hexavalent (dark gold to clear, non-RoHS)
- Type II — Trivalent (clear to light blue, RoHS-compliant)
- For corrosion protection and pre-paint adhesion
- Low-resistance electrical contact applications
ServicePrimer / Paint
Undercoat and preparatory coatings, plus final finish painted surfaces — for medical equipment, optical, automotive, and semiconductor applications where the finish has to look right and survive the field.
What we run
- Paint — 1 Coat
- Primer + Topcoat
- Primer + 2 Coats
ServiceAdditional Services
The supporting chemistries and secondary operations that round out a one-stop finishing house — passivation, dry lube, salt-spray validation, masking, and bake cycles for the customers who don't want their parts moving between three vendors.
What we run
- Passivation — AMS 2700 / QQ-P-35 / ASTM 967 (Type II, Type VI, Citric)
- Phosphate — Manganese, Zinc, Fluoride, Titanium
- Dry Lube / Solid Film Lubricant — Mil-PRF-46010H, Mil-L-8937, AS5272
- Black Oxide · Ebonol C
- Masking — glass-bead and sand-blast
- Baking to 525°F — pre-bake and post-bake
- Salt-Spray (2 hr) · Water Immersion (24 hr) · Copper Sulfate · MIL-STD-573
- Magnesium — Dow #1, #7, #10 · Pulse Reverse Electropolish (on request)
