Receivingto ship,one floor.
Six steps from incoming dock to ship dock. Seventy tanks, a NADCAP wet-chem lab, and an NDT room — under one roof, audited as one envelope.
Incoming
Parts arrive, drawings are read, every requirement is recorded against the order. Pre-process inspection catches anything that would have failed downstream before a single tank gets touched.
- Print + spec logged
- Incoming inspection report
- Lot ID assigned
Masking & Prep
Glass-bead and sand-blast for surface activation. Tapes, plugs, and lacquers on critical features. Aluminum deox or acid etch, depending on the spec being run.
- Tape / plug / lacquer map
- Bead-blast or etch log
- Activation sign-off
Process
One of seventy tanks — anodize, plate, chem-film, passivate, phosphate. Bath chemistry monitored by atomic absorption spectrophotometer; current density and time logged per lot.
- Bath chemistry log (AAS)
- Current density & time
- Per-spec process traveler
Rinse, Cure, Bake
Cascade rinses to zero discharge. Bake cycles to 525°F across 4–24 hours for hydrogen embrittlement relief, paint cure, and coating densification.
- Cascade rinse to zero discharge
- Bake schedule (4–24 hr to 525°F)
- Embrittlement relief
Inspect
Bowman XRF for plating thickness. PerkinElmer Pinnacle 500 AAS for bath chemistry. DeFelsko gauges, salt-spray chamber, microscopic exam. NDT lab for penetrant and mag-particle.
- XRF thickness · DeFelsko
- Salt-spray + microscope
- NDT — penetrant / mag particle
Ship
Cert package — chemistry, thickness, NDT, salt-spray — assembled with the lot. Parts packaged to print and routed to the customer or to the next-step vendor on schedule.
- Cert pack — chem + thickness
- NDT report attached
- On-time ship to print
